I have had a tube of Crest toothpaste in my bathroom since I can remember, and I know that all of us have similar memories and decades of patronage of Procter & Gamble products. But I recently learned that P&G also created a product that brings clean water families in need around the world.
P&G’s Purifier of Water packets contain a powder that transforms dirty water into clean drinking water. This technology was invented by P&G laundry scientists and is the cornerstone of the non-profit P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program. This social good movement distributes the packets through emergency relief efforts, NGO partners and governments in more than 75 countries.
My son Charlie and I were so intrigued by this video and learning about the movement that we tested the packets with dirty water right in our kitchen.

Oh that is so amazing! Wow! What a wonderful product for those in the world that do not have access to clean drinking water!!! The little things we take for granted…that others do not have…sure makes you think looking at the brown water.

I think this is a great idea to get clean water to children everywhere! There is a great need for this, so this is awesome that they are addressing it!
